Mandatory or Meaningful?
Training is usually delivered as an obligatory event only to get signatures
on a sign-in sheet to satisfy some requirement. Managers see the sign-in
sheets and the monies spent, and conclude their obligation has been met.
But was the intent of the requirement met? Did the trainees learn?
