This course was Approved by The Practicing Institute of Engineering  (PIE) to provide Continuing Education (CE) training for the State of New York Licensed Professional Engineers  (effective April 17, 2012)

This Continuing Education Competency Training is relevant to the professional engineer or surveyor.  It is the Course Objective to improve or expand the participant’s skills and knowledge in the essential art of communicating effectively to those within their circle of influence for that particular project or problem.

This knowledge and awareness training is presented in a format relevant to the realities of the engineering profession.

All on-site, tailored workshops, seminars or programs are conducted (in whole or in part) by Nick Cirilli, PE. Nick Cirilli is a practicing professional engineer with over nine years of “owner-oriented’ experience from a major oil refinery, including as a project engineer and as a maintenance planning superintendent, responsible for long range planning, refinery turnarounds, purchasing and stores. Nick also has five years of “service-oriented” experience from a major engineering & construction company as the director of project engineering. Cirilli Associates, Inc was established in 1990 and Nick continues to offer relevant examples in his programs, including examples from his practical experiences.

The DiSC assessment, published by Wiley, is a non-judgmental tool used for discussion of people’s behavioral differences.

Through Cirilli Associates, Inc., when you participate in a DiSC program, you’ll be asked to complete a series of questions that produce a detailed report about your personality and behavior. You’ll also receive tips related to working with people of other styles.

Note: Information here applies only to Everything DiSC and DiSC Classic assessments. It’s likely that other tests using the name DISC have not been researched and validated to the depth of Wiley’s DiSC products.
